Multilevel Kathipara Flyover
Though the IT sector provides bulk of job opportunities, it also increases the traffic congestion in Chennai with population increase. The projected population of Chennai is 7.5 million (75 lakhs). The vehicular population is more than 3 million and two wheelers constitute more than 50% of it. The Kathipara junction is an important junction in Chennai, where the traffic intensity is approximately 4 lakh vehicles per day.
